The movie ‘Adipurush’ earned 140 crores worldwide on the first day. The filmmakers gave this information on Saturday. According to the news agency PTI, production company T-Series has said that Adipurush has become the highest opening-day grosser of any Hindi film in the country.
In this film, Prabhas played the role of Raghav, Kriti Sanon played the role of Janaki and Saif Ali Khan played the role of Lankesh. This film has been released on more than 6000 screens in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
Controversy has raged on social media over several dialogues of the Hindi film ‘Adipurush’, while one dialogue related to the character of Sita has sparked controversy in Nepal.
In this film, Sita is called ‘India’s daughter’. The mayor of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, has objected to this dialogue. Balendra Shah ‘Balen’ has requested the filmmakers to remove this dialogue from their film.
Looking at the advance booking of the film, film analysts say that the film will earn more than 80 crores on the first day. It is said that 500 crore rupees were spent to make this film.
