Gadar 2 becomes the second highest-grossing Hindi film this year after Pathan

Akshay Kumar’s’ Oh My God 2 ‘collected Rs 7.20 crore on Wednesday. The total earnings of the film reached Rs. 79.47 crore. Within six days, ‘Gadar 2’ has become the second biggest Hindi film of the year.

Only Shah Rukh Khan’s’ Pathan ‘is ahead of it (Rs 543.05 crore). This year, small-budget films like ‘The Kerala Story’ did well. The film earned Rs. 238 crore at the box office. ‘Gadar 2 ‘has not even been a week since its release, it has left behind many big films this year.

‘Gadar 2 ‘is also doing well abroad. According to industry tracker Shacklink, the film’s overseas collection is Rs. 28 crore. According to this, the worldwide collection of Gadar 2 reached 298.2 crore on Wednesday.

Some trade experts on social media have said that ‘Gadar 2’ can beat the lifetime collection of ‘Pathan’. This seems possible given the pace at which the film is earning money. It will be interesting to see how the film fares in the second week.

The special thing is that ‘Pathan’ was released solo. Also, its screen count was higher than Gadar 2. Despite this, if it comes close to the earnings of Gadar 2 Pathan, then it will be historic in itself.
