Born in Phattep, Panchthar district, in 2053, Anjila Tumbapo Subba started playing football at the age of 13. She made her international debut in the AFC U-14 Girls Regional Trophy held in Sri Lanka in 2014 and was part of the national team from 2014 on. But she was limited to the bench for two years. Since then, she has become a reliable goalkeeper for the women’s national football team.
