The domestic box office for the Dayahang Rai and Miruna Magar-starring movie “Jaari” has reached double digits. This movie, which debuted on the first of Baisakh, made almost 13 Crore rupees up until the second Thursday, according to producer Rambabu Gurung.
‘Jaari‘ is also the first movie to earn double digits this year. The production firm claims that Mofasal’s portion of the film’s overall earnings is slightly higher than Kathmandu Valley’s. The movie has been making a lot of money in the eastern cities of Nepal since its premiere. In the eastern city, occupancy is still high. Even more, people are watching this movie than the newly released one now that it is in its third week.
The Upendra Subba-directed film succeeded well in multiplexes and single screens as well as in the worldwide market, which included Nepal.
Along with Nepal, this movie was released in America, Australia, and Europe last week. It was also released last week in the UK and the Middle East. Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, and director Subba are now marketing the movie in the UK.
Both critical and box office reviews for the movie, which tells the tale of the continuing traditions, marriage culture, and marital life of the Limbu population living in eastern Nepal, have been favorable. The production company Bansuri Films is getting ready to make Dayahang’s next movie, “Degree Maila,” after it has been released.
